Making 3D Tomatoes

First, to get an idea of what the results will be, take a look at the following video clip.  This clip requires the Microsoft Windows Media Player.

To make this illusion:
1) remove the paper label from a tin can
2) remove the bottom with a can opener and half of the sides with metal shears.
3) paste the label back on the can, as indicated in the photograph below:
