Activex.exe must be installed prior to using either data logging program. It can be downloaded from this site: http://dataq.com/support/downloads/activex.exe
WDQREC and LOGGER were especially developed for seismic data recording.
They offer real time control and timing accuracy not available with Dataq's Lite
Recorder.
Use LOGGER unless you need the special features found in WDQREC.

These Progams are written in Visual Basic 6.0, and may not run on your PC. It may be necessary to download the file "VBRun60sp4.exe" from http://support.microsoft.com/ . This is a self-extracting Exe File, which installs the run-time files necessary for Visual Basic applications.
